UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has called for “urgent action”, proposed human-rights-based HRBDS, and has put forward the establishment of a new International AI Safety Agency.

In order to allow humans and the planet to flourish sustainably, and to guarantee that human rights are respected not only offline but also online and in the domain of Data-Based Systems (DS), the creation of an International Data-Based Systems Agency (IDA) at the UN is necessary.
